Mobile users: Download Element Classic from your app store (not Element X). When signing in, set the server to chat.shinyflakes.xyz
On PC: Open chat.shinyflakes.xyz in your browser and click "Create Account".
On Phone: Download Element Classic from the App Store or Play Store. When signing in, tap "Sign in with a different server" and enter chat.shinyflakes.xyz as the homeserver, then "Create Account".
Pick a username (e.g. mario123) and a strong password (at least 12 characters). No email or phone needed.
Accept the terms, complete the CAPTCHA, and click "Register".
Enter your full username (e.g. @mario123:chat.shinyflakes.xyz) and your password, then click "Sign In".
You'll see the main Element screen. Don't worry if it looks empty at first — that's normal.
On the left sidebar, click "Explore rooms" (the compass 🧭 icon). In the search bar, type #shinyflakes:chat.shinyflakes.xyz and click "Join".
Once joined, you can chat with the community, ask questions, and get updates. Or message me directly using step 5 below.
On the left sidebar, click the "New Message" button (the pencil ✏️ icon).
Click my name, type your message in the bottom field, and press Enter to send.
